    Employer FAQ

Q1: If we hire person with disability, we have to sacrifice some quality, productivity, or efficiency.

If a hiring process focuses on employing someone with a disability in order to fill a quota, it will most likely not get the RIGHT person for the process. Not every person with a disability is suitable for every job type, and not every job type is suitable for all persons with disabilities.

If an employer is thinking & sacrificing quality, productivity or efficiency after employing a person with disability, either they have the wrong person for that role (same as with non-disabled people), or there is a barrier that has stopped the person with disability from performing.

So in that case we have to identify barriers and knocking them down.

Q2: What is An inclusive workforce?

Where Pwds work alongside their non-disabled peers benefits everyone. Individuals with disabilities, businesses and community benefits as a whole.

    Q3: What is "reasonable accommodation?"

Reasonable accommodation is any modification or adjustment to a job or the work environment that will enable a qualified applicant or employee with a disability to participate in the application process or to perform essential job functions.
