Hirak’s Journey: From Joblessness to Success with Sarthak Educational Trust

Life often tests us in ways we never expect. Some challenges push us down, while others shape us into who we are meant to be. This is the story of Hirak, a young man from Guwahati, who turned his struggles into success with courage and determination.

Hirak, a 26-year-old from Guwahati, faced immense hardships in his early years. Born with a disability in both hands, his challenges multiplied after losing his father in 2019. The loss left him and his mother struggling emotionally and financially. Due to his circumstances, Hirak was unable to complete his studies beyond the 12th grade. The burden of unemployment for four years added to his distress, leaving him disheartened and uncertain about his future.

Determined to change his fate, Hirak actively searched for job opportunities but faced repeated rejections due to his disability. It was during this difficult phase that he discovered Sarthak Educational Trust’s Guwahati Center. Taking a leap of faith, he enrolled in their training program, which proved to be a turning point in his life. Recognizing his potential, Sarthak equipped him with essential skills, boosting his confidence and employability.

Hirak’s interview was arranged by the Sarthak team at their hiring partner, Reliance Trends. With newfound determination and the skills he gained through Sarthak’s training, Hirak successfully cleared his interview at Reliance Centro and secured a job as a Sales Executive with a salary of 1.2 LPA. His hard work and dedication soon paid off, as he received the Best Performer Award twice during his two years of employment. From being financially dependent on his mother, Hirak has now emerged as an equal contributor to the household, managing expenses and ensuring a stable life for both himself and his mother.

He is now pursuing his graduation to unlock better opportunities for his future.
